TBM: Tunnel Boring Machine
Excavation through the use of the Tunnel Boring Machine ( TBM technology ) , with the pressure in front of the excavation ( EPB and Slurry ), have been refined in order to extend the field of application , increasing the confining pressures and the possible diameters .This allowed us to deal with difficult geological conditions and are characterized by a high variability .
Tunnel excavation: ADECO-RS
The Analysis of Controlled Deformation in Rocks and Soils (ADECO-RS), the crowning point of long in-depth research into the stress-strain behaviour of more than 1,000 km. of tunnel and more than 9,000 faces, is a design and construction approach developed by Rocksoil. The ADECO-RS approach makes a clear distinction between the design and the construction moments, allowing reliable forecasts of construction times and costs to be made.
Rocksoil: NO limits in the underground
We design engineering solutions in any geological enviroment and overburden. We designed galleries succefully, starting from a minimum overburden of 4 meters, up to a maximum overburden of 2,000 meters.
