The Riyadh Metro Project comprises carrying out all duties and tasks that are required for the implementation of six metro lines in the city of Riyadh, KSA, which form the backbone of the future Riyadh public transport network. The project will be completed by a comprehensive bus network that will be implemented by the Employer in parallel to the metro project.
Special focus areas:
▪ Best technical solutions to ensure the safeness under accidental load cases (e.g. blasting) and the durability of the infrastructure for 100 years at least
▪ Best technical solutions to minimize the effect of works to the surround environment, with particular attention to existing infrastructures, historical and futures buildings
▪ Best technical solutions not to affect groundwater quality and features.
